Head Measuring Guide

When purchasing a medical wig, it is crucial to ensure the proper fit.

In order to ensure your comfort and contentment with your final choice, this guide will assist you in precisely measuring your head for a wig.

You'll need a flexible measuring tape before you begin. If you don't have one, a ruler and a piece of string will also suffice.

1. Head Circumference

The head's circumference is the initial measurement to be made.

1. Start by paying attention to the front of your hairline.
2. Make sure the tape reaches your ears and the nape of your neck as you wrap it around.
3. Gather at the starting location. Your head's circumference is indicated by the measurement in inches.

2.Back to Front

The next measurement is the distance from the front to the back of your head.

1. Start at the front of your head, where your hairline is.
2. Over the top of your head, stretch the tape.
3. At the base of your hairline on the back of your neck, stop the measurement.

3.Ear to Ear

Ear to ear is the final measurement.

1. Start at your hairline, which is where it finishes in front of one ear.
2. Take a measurement from the same spot in front of the opposite ear across the top of your head.

You'll be able to determine your wig size much more accurately after you know these measurements.

To ensure accuracy, it is advised to repeat the measurements multiple times.

The majority of wigs also feature adjustable straps that can tighten or relax the wig by around half an inch, adding to its comfort and flexibility.
